Lake "O"...

We headed out on the weekend onto Lake Ontario to try our luck...
The water was a little choppy from the get go but nothing we haven't seen before. We put together a four rod spread, starting off with various spoons and found that old reliables green/silver and blue/silver were our ticket for this day, ended up 4/5 with two nice Bows and a couple of small "Nooks" for about 5 hours of fishing...not the most productive day but lots of fun anyway... Smile

Thanks Lancemaria...I'm hoping to get out again soon and maybe I'll have a better report with some bigger Chinooks... Smile

Hi

I was just wondering if anyone on here has had any luck fishing for Carp on the boating lake, I remeber reading somewhere that they go to over 20lb and there is a good head of large Bream there but you hardly ever see anyone fishing there.

I know that you arent allowed to fish while the boats are on the lake so this would restrict anyone want to make a day of it.

Anyone got a info on if there a good stock of fish there?

Fish untill 10am and get off cause the pleasureboaters will test your temper. I have seen them do it to people out there. There are plenty of fishermen that hit this lake too.

Nice fish Tom My mom and dad grew up right around there and I got the chance to fish this lake one weekend with no success. Im going to try to get back there soon to fish it. What was the water temp like? Are the weeds up? Any special spots you suggest there? Thanks.
