| I visited the Oak for my first time Nov. 6-8. After "learning the river" on Friday and Saturday, had a very exciting morning on Sunday landing 10+ fish, mostly browns and 2 steelies. I had heard that this has been a slow year, so I can only imagine what it's like on a good year! The crowd was manageable, meaning I never had a problem finding water to fish. The people I fished near were by and far pleasant, polite and helpful. One guy tried to crowd me, but I quietly held my ground and he eventually moved. Overall it was a great experience, and I'm planning on returning annually. |
